About Lake County Chamber of Commerce

Before the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1912, Leadville’s own Commercial Club was already laying the groundwork for business advocacy in the region. Officially chartered in 1913, the Lake County Chamber of Commerce has played a pivotal role in supporting local businesses through booms and challenges, from the height of mining prosperity to today’s growing tourism and entrepreneurial economy.
The Chamber’s purpose has always remained the same: to ensure that business owners have representation, resources, and a shared voice in shaping the future of Lake County. After over 110 years of service, we continue to evolve and adapt to modern challenges while remaining grounded in our historic commitment to local leadership.
