Leadville Business Investment Fund

A partnership between the City of Leadville and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, offering grants of up to $5,000 to help local businesses invest in their long-term success.

The Leadville Business Investment Fund (LBIF) provides grant funding to help Leadville businesses invest in projects that strengthen operations, improve long-term sustainability, and contribute to the economic vitality of our community.

The Lake County Chamber of Commerce is in partnership with the City of Leadville,the LCCOC will be administering this grant on behalf of the City of Leadville.​

Program Details

Do you qualify?

• Your business license is in good standing with the City of Leadville

• Your business was operating in the City of Leadville by December 2023

What can funds be used for?

• Short-term payroll assistance

• Equipment or technology purchases that improve efficiency and/or revenue

• Emergency repairs or vandalism recovery

• Accessibility or minor compliance improvements

• Operational improvements that help the business remain open

Key Dates

• Applications open: Aug. 3, 2026

• Applications close: Aug. 16, 2026

• Review period: Aug. 17–23, 2026

• Funds distributed: first week of Sept. 2026​

How It Works

Apply

Submit your application for either $1k, $2.5K and $5k online anytime during August 3–16. Takes about 5 minutes.

Review

Applications go through a one-week, fair and transparent review process using published evaluation criteria.

Distribute

Grant funds are distributed to awardees during the first week of September.
